I am very much interested in Silivri, Istanbul, Turkey. I know it is a seacost town, built on a cliff, famous for yoghurt, etc. I am looking for more than just tourist info. In the late 1800s, early 1900s was it highly populated with Greeks or Turks. Were the greeks and turks friendly towards each other or hostile. What were the schools like. What was the most common occupation. Was there a Greek Orthodox church there. What was life like back then. What is life like now. etc. etc. etc. Any Silivri info. will greatly help my project.
