: I was signed up for a begginers Greek class and the USDA in Washington DC, but I just found out that it was cancled because of low enrollment. Does anyone have any idea where a Begginers Greek Class is offered in the NOVA or DC area?? Thanks in advance, Julia
Call St. Sophia Orthodox Church @ (202) 333 4730. Ask for Mrs. Rena Papapostolou. St. Sophia's is at 36th & Mass. Ave., N.W. (Near the Washington Cathedral). I have been taking her beginner's class since September (Thursday evenings, 6-7 p.m.) We are starting the second semester, so if you are truly a beginner, you will likely have to wait until September this year. Call her, though. Perhaps she'll have some other ideas. Good luck! I'm really enjoying the lessons.
