Do Greek men prefer Greek women?

A topic I would love to be debated is whether or not Greek men of the diaspora (Canada, US, etc.) prefer to become involved with and marry fellow Greek-Canadian/American women OR do they prefer to settle with women of other cultures?

What is it that causes Hellenic men to want women of their own ethinicity?

What is it that causes some Hellenic men to marry women of such vastly different upbringings and backsgrounds of their own? What causes these men to choose women so different from the women in their own families, e.g. their mothers and sisters?

Please share your thoughts on this fascinating topic as many of the second generation of Greeks of the diaspora are now settlong down.
