Go to the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese on the web. It is a great site and very informative. Many of your questions are already answered there. Plus, there is a "questions" section as well. I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find very good/accurate information on the "liturgia"
: (ceremony). My fiance is not orthodox, so I know there are some preparations and steps
: we need to follow in order to get married. If anybody can help shed some light it would
: GREATLY be appreciated. Especially on topics such as: Can we exchange our own vows at the end?
: Can the ceremony be done in whole/in part in the english language? Does the koumbaro and
: koumbara have to exsist or can I have a best man, maid of honor and a "token" koumbara
: for the ceremony?
: Thank you for your insight! This has been a vey distressing subject to me...
