I highly recommend the BBC self study program for begginers of the Greek language. BBC also offers an advanced program. It comes with a tape and a book and it will assist you in your first steps of exploring the rich world of our language.

Another suggestion is to contact your local Greek Consulate and ask to speak to the Cultural Attache. He/she will be able to direct you to a tutor or a school that provides Greek lessons.
