: The ingredients you need for kourabiedes are:
2 cups of fresh butter
4-5 cups of flour
1/2 a cup of sugar
2 egg yokes
1 teaspoonful of baking powder
2 teaspoonfuls of brandy
some vanilla essence
640gr. powdered sugar (ahni zahari)
some anthonelo (blossom water?)

First beat the butter until it gets white. Then add
the sugar and the yokes and keep working with mixture
Mix the flour with with the baking powder and the vanilla
essence.
Add to the butter mixture the brandy and then gradually
add the flour.Knead the dough very well(it should not
be sticky)and then take small pieces of the dough,
give them the desired shape and put them into a
baking tin. Bake for 15-20 minutes and as soon as
you take them out of the oven you sprinkle with the
anthonero and put them in layers in a serving dish.
NOTE: you should cover the serving dish with powdered
sugar (ahni) before putting any kourambiedes in, and also
add lots of ahni before adding each new layer.

Good luck!
