I have spent quite a bit of time in Greece and have dated Greek men from Greece, Greek-American men, and American men. I don't usually like to make generalizations, but Greece, as a country, is not quite as advanced in feminists ideals as America. Therefore, generally speaking, neither are Greek men from Greece, unless they have traveled beyond Greek borders, studied abroad, or lived outside their parents' house once they hit the age of 36 :) I find Greek-American men more understanding of American women. They have been exposed to a country of strong, independent women. American men are a bit intimidated by Greek culture sometimes, particularly if they grew up in a reserved family/culture. However, I have also met American men who embrace Greek traditions. Hope this helps!
