I just recently found this site hope its not too late. I have this recipe for kourambiedes for you.
500 gr. fresh butter of the finest quality
150 gr. sugar
2 egg yolks
250 gr. toasted almonds, broken in pieces
2/3 cup brandy or orange juice
a few drops of vanilla
1 cup orange blossom water
300 gr. powdered sugar
cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the egg yolks, the almonds, and the brandy/OJ and the vanilla, beating constantly. Add the flour little by little and knead all the ingredients together. Shape the dough into thick patties, 1 1/2-2 inches in diameter, and bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes. While still hot, sprinkle with orange blossom water and roll in powdered sugar.
