I always thought tolerance was one of God's primary messages. The split the gave Orthodoxy life happened very long ago... but it's this way of thinking today that will ultimately cause its death. The youth who will carry on the Orthodox tradition have catholic friends. Those Catholic friends are good people. Why should we hate what they believe?

Let's put past transgressions where they belong... in the past. Let us forgive, so we can heal. Isn't that what we're taught? If we ask God to forgive our sins, but cannot forgive the sins of others, then we are the worst kind of sinners... self serving hypocrites.
