This is my most favorite album. The poetry is of Pablo Neruda.

"CANTA THEODORAKIS", ELLAS
This is simply a wonderful album. Maria del Mar Bonet had been a longtime admirer of the music of Mikis who coached her and was present at the first concerts that accompanied this album. The songs have been translated to a dialect spoken on Mallorca from where del Mar Bonet originates. The ensemble consists almost entirely of acoustic instruments which makes for a natural clear sound that suits all the songs perfectly. Songs include Aprilis, Omorfi Poli, To Yelasto Pedi, Mnimossino and Ligna Koritsia from 18 songs of the bitter Fatherland which like tou Mikrou Voria are the highlights of this great album.
