It's traditional in my family to give gifts on New Year's day, not December 25, although a lot of Greeks in Greece give gifts on the 25th. Children sing the kalanda, (Christmas carols) by going from house to house and asking the resident if they want to hear the kalanda. This still occurs in central Athens where I spent last Christmas day. Little groups of children going from apartment to apartment to sing carols. I can't think of anything else specific regarding Christmas because Easter is considered much more significant on the religious calendar. Consequently Easter has many more regional traditions and practices attached to it.
