Marta,

I believe "Sakis" is a shortened version of a longer name e.g. "Athanasios" = "Thanasakis" which can then be shortened to "Sakis". And there may be other longer names that could be reduced to "Sakis". Some of these Greek full names may not have an english version anyway (as the above does not) but try and find out the long version first and then we'll see from there.

I have a cousin named Sakis and that's short for Theothoros which is Theodore.
