After visiting Greece for a total of 19 times, my wife and I decided to live there after I retired from the University. The most difficult obstacle we had to overcome was getting accepted as Greeks even though we spoke the language. It will be a difficult transition, but if you accept the fact that you can always return to the States, your attitude will be different about staying. Accept the customs and the idiosyncracy (greek word)thats inherent in all of us, you will love the country. After a while you will get to love the people, especially their warm and fun-loving nature.
