My husband is Greek, when we were married I converted from Catholic to the Orthadox
faith. At the time the priest told me that the only real differences between the two
churches was that unlike the catholics the orthadox faith does not believe in the emmaculate
conception. Mary is celebrated for being chosen to be the mother of Jesus only. They believe that
she was chosen after she was in fact already pregnant.
As far as your upcoming marriage I can tell you some things but maybe you could be more specefic
in what it is that you want to know.
