: The fact is that the Albanians are the only indigenous people of southeastern Europe. No mainstream historian would deny their connections to the Pelgasians and Thraco-Illyrians. The Albanians have been in the Balkans for over 10,000 years, long before the ancient Greeks, andcertainly before the modern Greeks (the so-called neo-hellines) who migrated from Anatolia some 1500 years ago.
Bullshit! On what grounds do you make this premise? If Albanians existed there for 10,000 years, they left no record of existence and lived as primitive no hopers, who only recently worked out they would need an alphabet to communicate.
As for the Hellenes... here again your facts are warped out of shape - we took over the land of Ellas some 3,000 years ago and civilised the indigenous people (something albanian's weren't privy to)... In fact there is strong evidence to suggest that ancient greece is linked to the Phonecians!! well what a surprise to our already impressive past. Indeed, Greece's legacy will never fade.
