Spanakopita (spinach pie) is a widely common dish in Greece. I have found that in most Greek regions they enjoy some version of this wonderful dish. I have encountered versions of spanakopita with slight variations in the Peloponnese, Roumeli, the Greek islands and the Greek Communities of Asia Minor.
