Digital Certificate YOUR PASSWORD:
Your digital certificate encrypts the information transmitted over the internet. The encryption level is 128-bit which is currently the best available. This facility has been provided by Baltimore Technologies.
Firstly you receive an email. You need to right click on the attachment, select save as, and choose to save it to the desktop.
Once the attachment has been saved it looks like an envelope and you need to double click on it (left).
Upon double clicking the attachment an import wizard appears. You are required to click next
The next page of the installation wizard appears and again just click next.
A password is required for the next screen. This can be found at the top of this document. The password must be entered correctly and IS case sensitive. Do not check the boxes
The next page of the installation wizard appears and just click next.
When the final installation page appears click finish.
Should you PC ask you if you would like this certificate to be added to the route store click YES.
You should now have a small box stating “import successful”.
