if you are not converting religions for yourself, you are doing it for the wrong reason. technically, there is no reason for you to do so. you can marry & attend the orthodox church and not be orthodox. you seem to be deeply rooted in your heratige and sound as if your mind is already made up. if it is a serious problem with your in-laws, baptize her in the orthodox church, with the understanding that she will also attend the lutheran church. it is a shame that the orthodox parish does not have a sunday school program. perhaps your husband can teach her the ways of the church and when she attends the lutheran church, she can learn in sunday school (and from you). a thought, when she grows older she can decide if she wants to stay orthodox or convert. you and your husband should teach her about your heratige, it's hers too. good luck.
