You did a wonderful thing by posting this recipe. My wife and I are from Detroit, where many coney islands are located. When I made your sauce, my wife said it smelled just like American Coney Island. It also had the right "burb". However the tecture was not right-itwas not runny enough so I tried a little tomato paste. 2 teaspoons per laddle. It turned out much better. I suggesr you try it. You've done all us Mid-Westerners a great favor.
