: The final "s" is always prounounced in all Greek words. You're probably confused about mens' names. When you're talking about someone whose name ends in "s" (eg. Where's Thanos) you use the "s". When you're talking to this person you drop the "s" (eg. How are you Thano?) Hope this helps.

Dear Alexandros,

I would like to know how a Greek man with a name ending in S would introduce himself. Would he introduce himself as "Thanos" or "Thano"?
