: My name is Bill. I am doing research on my ancestors. My grandfather moved to the United States from Crete, Greece, between 1910 and 1920, I'm not exactly sure. His name was Pete Koutsunis. I believe the last name was possibly spelled differently in Greece. It was pronounced as Koo-chuh-night-chus, but the spelling is unknown. If you have any information for my family it would be greatly appreciated. Our family name is slowly becoming extinct and we want to know all we can while we can.
