: Hello, to everyone! This is a nice place, where I thought someone might be able to help me out
: whith this one little problem. I am Serbian and have a friend whose name in Serbian means "wish".
: Now he does't have a name day, so I thought it might be possible that there is a Greek name which
: means "wish" and then it might be possible to find a Saint with that name and find him his name
: day. So far jsut looking around I was unable to find such a name. The only one that can help me
: is a real live Greek person, and I don't know any. If anyone knows, can you please tell me of a
: name that means "wish" (if such a name exists), I would be sooooooooooooo gratefull and happy.

Dear Aleksandra:

The Greek word for "wish" is "Euxh" (pronounced ef-hee (the accent is on the second syllable)). In Greek there is no Saint by the name, as far as I'm aware. Sorry !
