First of all congratulations.
I believe that the Orthodox church frowns upon non Greek Orthodox weddings. Even Catholics have to go through questioning by our priests about their faith cos they too do not allow Orthodox to marry or Christen without signing a waiver of his her Catholic/Orthodox faith.
If he is Hindu that is a little perculiar. People should know this already.
