A sure bet is Uncle George's taverna on Broadway and 34th. It would be easiest to get to Astoria from Manhattan on the subway, the "7" train to Queensboro Plaza then take the "N" train to your destination in Astoria. Have a great time. There's no place in the world like NYC.
: I hope some of you New Yorkers can help.
: I'm going to NY next week and would like to visit some greek restaurants/bars/nightclubs. I assume the best place to go to is Astoria, but not sure where. I've heard of a place called CAVO, is that fun?? I'm going with 2 friends (ages 27-33), and I'd like to go somewhere nice and classy and a little older crowd, not a nightclub with 18-21 year olds. Any suggestions?? I'm from California and rarely meet any greek people. Also, I will be staying in Manhattan, so what would be the best way to get there, taxi?
: Thanks in advance!
