Yes, Latinos are classified as "Hispanic" here, which is just a catch-all name really. In reality they can't really be classified, as some are European (a few look amazingly like Greeks), some are Amerindian, and others are black. Many seem to be hybrids of all three in varying degrees. They're cool people; I like their food and culture.
We have lots of Arabs as well, and I think these are the people who experience racism the most here, especially after what happened on September 11. Just a few weeks ago, some racists set a Lebanese church on fire!
I don't know. Everyone says it's good to "celebrate diversity" and all that, but to me, it seems that the more different kinds of people you cram into one place, the more problems you get.
