Help for school work please

Hi,
I am currently studying Classics at school. Classics is the study of Ancient Greek and Roman times - i.e their beliefs, daily routines and perspective on the world.
Tomorrow I have an assignment due on the goddess Hera.

I would like someone to please tell me if it is true or not, that Hera, in ancient Greek, meant lady?

Thank you in advance,
Kiwi
