Divorce and the Greek Culture (religion)

I am not sure if this is a question of culture or religion or something else but I was wondering what peoples views are on getting divorced.

I left my husband and now we are going through the divorce. He refuses to speak to me and I was just wondering what might be going through his mind. No one else in his family is divorced and I was wondering if someone out there might be able to shed a bit of light?
