In general (though not true for all), they have dark hair, dark eyes, but not very dark skin (they have olive skin). The more time you spend around them you'll begin to notice the differences.
What is your Asian background? By looks, I can pick out Vietnamese people, but by their language I can tell who is Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese. I had a Vietnamese friend and when she moved to the States she couldn't pick out the differences among whites.
